• Far away from wedding presents and furniture donated by our parents, we have been scouring the city looking for second hand items and sales.

• We purchased a used vehicle, thanks to the generosity of many of you, and had it “checked out” by a mechanic beforehand. Much to our surprise, we've already had a major car repair that could not be detected before the purchase. Ouch!

• It seems like at least one of us has been sick since we arrived and have been hit with medical expenses we did not anticipate. We are much better and Jensen said the other day, “Mom! I don’t have any more sicks!”

• We have also invested in Karl’s soccer ministry, technology costs for the computer class, product samples for the sewing school, and meals for people we serve in the townships.

Each purchase we make is an expression of YOUR love and generosity. If you could read our minds, you’d see us buying milk for the girls, fuel to travel to Ocean View and electricity (3 times the cost back home) – thanking the Lord for your incredible generosity and partnership.
