Incredible Monthly Supporter,

First off, we just want to thank you for your big-time love and support. It really is nothing short of amazing. We can't say that enough.

As you know, we have recently returned to America to spend some time with Karl's mother as she battles cancer. We are grateful for this special time to be together as family.

We realize that everyone has 2 questions for us...

"How is Karl's mom?"

Karl's mother is doing well. She is in Week 8 of her chemo treatment and although it has drained her energy a bit...her spirits are good, and she is leaning on the Lord every day. In 4 weeks she will receive a scan that will tell her if the chemo treatment is actually working.

"How long are you staying in America?"

Once we find out more about the success of the chemo treatments (in 4 weeks), we will know a lot more about what the future holds for her. At that time, we will discuss and pray about the next steps for our family.

So...next month we will know more about how long we will be in America, and we will send you detailed information at that time.

What we know for sure...

This is an important time for us to be in America
We feel called by God to Africa and will be returning as soon as we can
We are praying that the chemo would be wildly successful! We put our faith in Christ, and His plans for our lives.
